* Wed Oct 21 2026 Xionghu Luo <xionghuluo@tencent.com> - 2.46-1
- [Type] enhancement
- [DESC] gcc-toolset-16 binutils 2.46, installed into the gcc-toolset-16 prefix
- [DESC] Remove the 10 patch files that were never declared and hence never applied: 6 are already contained in 2.46 upstream (LTO-restore-wrapper-symbol, aarch64-obj-attr, readelf-local-syms, revert-PR33577, strchr-fixes, disable-gcs-report-dynamic-tests) and 4 no longer apply to 2.46 (gcc-10-fixes from the 2.34 era, revert-note-id-move from 2.43.50, strip-plugin-fix which needs a rebase, and the Fedora aarch64 GCS default override disable-gcs-report-dynamic, which is deliberately not carried so that OCS keeps the upstream default)
- [DESC] Remove the RHEL/CentOS Stream leftovers that the OCS gating never uses: gating.yaml, rpminspect.yaml, plans/ and binutilscompare
- [DESC] Fix rm -f %local_libdir/lib{bfd,opcodes}.la, which used a macro instead of the shell variable and was therefore a silent no-op, and drop the duplicate local local_libdir declaration
- [DESC] Guard the restorecon calls with command -v instead of requiring policycoreutils, and drop the /sbin/ldconfig calls, which are a no-op because the toolset libraries live in the SCL root
- [DESC] Own the intermediate SCL directories etc, var and var/lib from the main package
- [DESC] Correct the debuginfod and testsuite build condition comments, which quoted dist-ts4 reasons that do not describe OpenCloudOS 9
- [DESC] Pin the version to 2.46 on purpose, although 2.46.1 and 2.47.50 exist upstream: this is an LTS toolchain import, not an oversight
